What to Do at Night in Daegu

Daegu is a vibrant city with a bustling and exciting nightlife that has everything including fine dining options, cultural performances, and cool and glitz clubs and pubs. Ariana Brau

This is a unique restaurant that turns into a pub at 20:00 every night with live music six nights a week. They also have their own brewing system at this pub due to which it’s quite famous for its beer and German ales. It’s not cheap and in terms of food, they serve mostly Korean dishes. Ariana Brau is located in the basement of the Ariana Hotel, which is about a 15-minute drive from downtown.

Billibow is a famous sports and games lounge featuring a pool table, electronic dart boards, and a number of other interesting games. This bar also features another popular game known as Billibow, which is a mix between bowling and billiards. In this game you have to make use of a pool cue to shoot a ball down a path styled as a bowling lane. At the end of this lane are pins that the ball you’ve just shot needs to knock down.

Daegu Opera House is located in the heart of the city and is one of the city’s most popular landmarks. The Opera House is impressive and its interiors offer visitors a refined atmosphere. Gypsy Rock

Gypsy Rock is another favourite hangout for expats in Daegu and is one of the premier clubs in the city. This multi-storey club plays great hip hop music on one level and techno music on the other; and while they charge an entry fee, the amount is minimal.

Frog and Bubble clubs

The Frog and Bubble clubs are popular hip hop clubs in downtown Daegu. Cover charges apply, which gives access to both clubs and includes a free drink ticket.

That club is a popular four-storey downtown club and is a Mecca for music and art enthusiasts in the city. The first floor houses the book and wine café with an excellent choice of wine. The second floor is the live jazz floor that features excellent jazz performances every day. The third floor has the most popular bar area and serves exotic cocktails and drinks. You can choose to enjoy these drinks on the third floor bar or take them to the second floor in the live jazz music area. The fourth floor of the club has an art gallery and an events hall.
