    Fine-dining Fusion Restaurant in Gangnam

Ryunique delivers modern Korean delicacies with heavy influence from France, Japan, Spain and Italy in a fine-dining setting. The restaurant exudes a minimalistic and low-key ambience with blond wood tables, cosy cushioned seats, fresh flowers, and massive windows that offer plenty of natural light. Proof of Ryunique’s pedigree is clear by its inclusion in San Pellegrino’s prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2015.

Diners can opt for its extensive lunch (48,000 won) or dinner (120,000 won) menus as well as tasting menus with wine pairing. Traditional Korean ingredients such as gochujang (red pepper sauce), dotorimuk (acorn jelly), and seaweed are paired with contemporary cooking methods and avant-garde presentation in glass bowls, vintage picture frames, and edible flowers.

A contemporary version of the Korean bossam (boiled pork wraps), the dish comprises of sous-vide king shrimp, potato purée, baby spinach, mushrooms, and Chef Tae Hwan Ryu’s uniquely sweet and savoury shrimp soy reduction.

Lastly, make sure you save some room for Ryunique’s whimsical dessert, which consists of caramel rice ice-cream, kiwi purée, green tea powder, lemon panna cotta, jasmine tea jelly, cake, sweet crumbs and edible flowers, is artfully displayed on an antique picture frame.
