Gyeongju does not really have an active nightlife culture, so if you are looking for dance clubs, bars, or great places to party you'll have to visit the neighboring city of Seonggeon-dong. This area is packed with restaurants, bars, karaoke rooms, and coffee shops. These places cater to a younger crowd of university students and locals. In addition to these places, there are quite a few restaurants offering you a variety of cuisines such as Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and even Italian. You will also find a number of bars here offering cheap pitchers of beer, bar food, wine, whiskey, cocktails, soju, and live music too.
