Nightlife in Jeju is rather subdued, as the island caters mostly to honeymooners and those looking to explore the island’s natural landscape. Major hotels have lounges where you can relax with a drink and live music in the evenings. Casinos are often located within 5-star hotels and resorts in Jeju.
If you want to go out, the City Hall area, Shinjeju Baozen Street, and Topdong Seaside are where the local youths often hang out in the evening. The bars and pubs in these areas stay open until the early morning, usually until 4am. Tourists usually frequent the bars on Shinjeju Baozen Street as most of them have English-speaking staff and imported drinks. Check out our guide on where to go at night in Jeju.
